Booking Terms and Conditions
All bookings, Cancellations and Amendments should be in writing/written form.
The company reserves the right to cancel your safari/tour if the balances are not paid with in one month to start of tour or the tour can be cancelled also if there is an unforeseen danger, situation or problem in the country or place of tour.
The Company policy accepts Uganda Shillings or US Dollars and direct electronic money transfer to our account as mode of payment. Clients will be responsible for bank transfer fees.
The Company will not accept or be liable to any eventualities such as accidents, sickness, animal attack, injury, loss or damage to person or property. Though we shall do our very best to help the situation, the company has no direct control about government policy, hotel and national park changes or even some of the above eventualities.
The company will confirm back your booking in writing and a 40% deposit is paid by the client as confirmation for the booking including gorilla or chimp permits if part of the safari. The balance 60% is paid one month to the safari/trip. However full advance payment for the trip is acceptable and secures the booking. Kindly note- full payment is required for bookings made with in 3-4 weeks (1 month) to date of departure.
The quoted price for a safari does not include items of personal nature such as tips, beers, cigarettes, telephone bills, laundry, personal insurance and beverages.
The client should confirm back the booking with in 2 days and a deposit payment arranged within 3-5 days after making the booking.
The company has the right to adjust or change the prices, services or the itinerary anytime where deemed necessary.
Baggage- The clients should keep all the baggage and personal belongings in their safe custody.
Persons affected with disease, mental illness, physical handicap or pregnancy are advised not to engage in travel programmes.
Insurance details- the company advises that the client takes home personal and travel insurance. Inside Uganda Tours does not provide insurance but it will do the very best to help the situation when need arises.
Gorilla and chimpanzee permits require cash down payments in advance most of the time because of high demand. Please note that a refund WILL NOT be given for permits bought, as their resale is very unpredictable. Children under 15 years are advised NOT to trek gorillas.
Protected areas-they include national parks, forests, lakes, the Zoo, animal zones and areas of that nature. Please do not pick up, collect, disturb or damage any item or species including flowers, animals and leaves in the protected areas. BUT photographing and watching is acceptable.
If your booking has no gorilla/chimp permits, a 30% deposit is required to secure and confirm your booking with us.
Please forward all complaints/suggestions soonest to the tour manager for re-dress.
Kindly note that payments by international money wire transfer to our account whose details are provided upon request and confirmation by the client.
Kindly note- the terms and conditions may change anytime depending on the changing situations or circumstances BUT valid at the time of booking with us.

CANCELLATION CHARGES
The cancellation fees will be charged per person as below.
0-14 days before departure or to the date of safari, there will be no refund 100%.
15-30 days before departure or to the date of safari, 70% cancellation fees will be charged.
31-60 days before departure or to the date of safari, 50% cancellation fees will be charged.
61-85 days before departure or to the date of safari, 30% cancellation fees will be charged.
85- and above days to the date of the safari, 15% cancellation fees will be charged.
